This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Lawndale is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lawndale follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love pho and found this place by accident. I came around 7:30pm and it wasn't really super busy, which was great for me! I felt like I had the restaurant all to myself! My portions were great and the price was awesome, too! Our servers were so pleasant also! I will definitely come back!

I came here for the first time a couple of days ago. I wanted to try something new, outside of the pho spot I originally go to "Saigon Dish" In lawndale. I walked in and seen there were zero costumers , as I proceeded to walk in there was no one at the register and took about 10 seconds for someone to walk out and help us get seated. everything about the place was clean, just empty. Once We ordered our food , it took about 10 minutes to be ready. I asked for no onion with a side of JUST cilantro and got the smallest portion of cilantro with onions, after I just asked for no onions. I look inside my bowl and it is the smallest portion of pho iv ever seen / had in my life. not to mention, it was very very very oily. All the condiments were also not good , the taste of the broth wasn't good while there was black stuff in my bowl. The broth also smelt unpleasant. Every time I would wipe my lips , full of oil! The lemonade looked good but it was not , it was warm and tasted like tap water and it costed 6$!! Not to mention, the gentleman that helped us get seated was doing nothing but watching us eat! Ever since i ate here i've been having stomach problems. It gave me an upset stomach.

I made a trip to this spot after seeing the great reviews, and overall was ok. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, and the service was pleasant. We ordered the ribs combo pho and the brisket and meatball pho β both bowls had a solid, flavorful broth that hit the spot. The ribs wasnt that amazing. The egg rolls were crispy and well-seasoned. Thai tea was also great. My main gripe is the meat portions felt a little skimpy for the price β I expected a bit more generosity in the bowl. At around $60 for two people, itβs on the pricier side for pho, which did temper the experience slightly. That said, the quality is clearly there. If the portions were bigger or the price a touch lower, this would be an easy five stars. Worth a visit, but go in with calibrated expectations on value.

Had lunch with my girlfriend and the food was excellent! The spring rolls were perfectly good! Iβve had pho before and never really liked it, so I ordered the rice and pork chop plate for myself however, I tried her ( my girlfriend) Pho and let me tell you! Iβm definitely gonna be coming and having Pho the next time! Highly recommend! P.S o donβt usually write reviews but I had to! This place is 10 outta 10
